NYE 2018 Into 2019 - As the Weather World Turns

Kind of awesome isn't it?
We can watch the whole world's weather...
...from up above.

NYE weather..... January 1st?
Watch the weather world turn.

allfcsts_loop_ndfd.gif (799×559)

For a good part of the year I'm watching waves roll off of Africa and what's going on in the Caribbean and then I'm suddenly aware of an odd noise outside ..... and I realize it's raining in my backyard. The irony is that unless it's winter and I'm hoping it will snow I rarely pay attention to the local weather in my own neighborhood. I check my kid's weather as they don't use weather apps or pay attention to the local weather until someone posts weather news in the family WhatsApp feed. It's a strange, big, beautiful world.

And we are moving fast from 2018 into 2019 as the hours click away and the clock counts down. It's human nature to look back every year and remember, bitch, complain and wax poetic on what was the most wonderful and what was the most horrible. There are always things that remain in our memory and others we don't remember until someone reminds us. I suppose it's a good thing to take stock every year and smile and ponder what we would like to do this coming year. Goals are good, surprises happen and sometimes you actually get what you are wishing for but I may warn you as always to be careful for what you are wishing for... because you just might just get it!

It was a busy year for me traveling frequently to see my kids in the 3 corners of the USA and back and forth up and down I-95. Cranky is right my life has become traveling North and South on I-95 yet I went to Seattle this year and am drinking coffee this morning out of an Amazon Go mug picked up in the store where you don't pay the register and I literally mean "picked up" as I wandered through the store with my son and one of his friends. I walked around the huge Biosphere Globe and I do mean "walked around" as it's reminiscent to my first trip to Disney World. Amazingly my son worked on some of the algorithms that made that store work and it was wonderful seeing him and his awesome family. I was there for my granddaughter Bella's birthday party and celebrating life and family. Even without the kids there I'd love Seattle, something about that city resonates with me deeply.

Seattle is truly so magical.
A tropical paradise inside the globe.

And, then back home to the East Coast.
Yet we watch the West Coast for our future weather.
We watch Alaska and before that the Pacific.
Look at that Jet Stream in the NW...
Wet weather up across Mexico ...
Then the Southern Jet up coming into the South East.

The two jets of 2018...
...will they linger into 2019?
Or hook up again somewhere?

Speaking of Alaska...
...big earthquake this year.

And there you see the current pattern.
Snow in the NW...and the Great Lakes.
Rain the Southeast.
Down the road Oklahoma might get snow.
Just a blue patch there in the middle of the country.
The rest of the South stays clear of snow for five days.

Then what?
If you don't have snow...
... play in the sand.
And Mike does.
He made a Sandman!

Somehow this year he became the Drunk Monkey Man.
I'm not sure where the girl is who called him that online.
Hopefully she keeps those things "inside thoughts" from now on.
My younger kids use that term.
My older kids tell their kids "use your words"
Use your words wisely.
Mike as always runs with the ball...

You can buy a tee shirt or an umbrella!
Check out his site for weather and merchandise.
I bought a Hurricane Season tee shirt..
sorry not putting a donkey across my breasts.
People look enough as it is....
... nuff said there.
Cute though.
Mike's cute.

Jim Williams chased Michael.
This was definitely the year of Michael.
Michael and Florence in the tropics.
Retired names (they will be) of 2018.
A wet Southeast was the legacy.
Rainiest year in Raleigh since 1945.
1945 was a huge hurricane year...

Good for him.

He got out of his studio/office...
..and back to his roots.
Jim's always been a chaser...
I know that, trust me.
But he's an awesome Weather Historian.
He's awesome in general. I know that.

Jim Cantore finally got out of Wilmington.
They were pounded by rain before, during and after Flo.
Flo would not leave....

Tornadoes happened in Wyoming this year.
Oh and Cape Cod got some action too in that department.

Weather is locational.
Memories of 2018 are connected to your location.
Fires in California were the story of the year there.
Well there's time for a big Quake but times running out.
It's 8 AM on December 31, 2018
The "ball" or "acorn" will be dropping soon.
In Raleigh they drop an acorn.
It's Raleigh... don't ask.

You remember the weather you had that rocked your world.
Or you hanker for the weather you want and didn't get.
You hope it won't snow or you pray it snows.
I had a surprise snowfall in New York in Mid November.
Magical snow flakes falling from the sky out of nowhere.
Not in the forecast...
Raleigh got snow, a lot of snow later that month.
We have not had snow since.........
Last year it was freezing on New Years Eve...
...this year it's forecast to be in the high 60s today.
Thunderstorms!
(count ten days til snow...)

You have to roll with the punches weatherwise and in life.

I have 3 new grandchildren... this year.
2017 was the year of weddings.
2018 was the year of babies.
A brand new Instapot and beautiful Kitchen Aid.
Maybe 2019 will be the year of cooking and baking!

For most baby boomers losing the Bandit was hard.
He defined a good part of our lives.
Especially if you live Down South.
but I know a few Yankees who loved him too.

May 2019 bring you wonders and magic.
Magical moments to remember.
New friends, children, partners, grandchildren.
Maybe a new puppy or goldfish or lizard?
May you take trips to paradise or enjoy staying home.
Home is where the heart is...
..but in today's world...
The world wide web let's us take our heart with us..
..wherever we go.
We are all on Twitter or Instagram or Facebook.
And we can watch the world turn from up above.

sat_wv_east_loop-12.gif (640×512)

My special thanks to all I mentioned...
..all I implied (you know who you are)
And to those I didn't mention but usually do.
To all of you who rock my world...
Thank You!

And as for Burt....
The Bandit stole our heart.

Besos BobbiStorm
Thanks for the birthday wishes.
Happy 2019!!

As for the 2018 Hurricane Season..
Jim and I both love maps and weather.
Going to let him do the 2018 Hurricane Season round up.

Ps... As for me I'm watching the weather.
Wearing a plethora of tee shirts.

This one from www.hurricanecity.com
Finding weather from the Keys to Seattle...
... in Iowa or New York City.
Sometimes even Raleigh...

Thanks for following along.

Enjoy the thoughts and the music.
We do get older, we kind of grow up.
Sometimes I think we get even better with time.

Tale of 2 Seasons. Hurricane Season Exiting & Winter Already Here and Staying.

When seasons collide.........
Trees with leaves get ice and fall down.
Football is played in the snow.
And our hurricane supplies ...
...become winter storm supplies.
Except in Florida.....
... where you can snack to your heart's content!

I'm sure I've used that phrase before but I can't think of a year that so exemplifies that saying in a meteorological way as 2018. We had a season that started early and looked as if we would have a map filled with tracks from barely there tropical storms and numerous subtropical storms. What's in a name? A name designates importance and yet it's hard to take a Tropical Storm that barely has any weather associated with it seriously ... yet it has a name and is on the map. Other weak tropical storms can intensify fast into players that take us by surprise. TWC likes to name winter storms ...they say to identify specific ones and others say it's just for hype...still it has a name and a hashtag online. Perhaps TWC got that part sooner rather than later, because if something doesn't have a name it doesn't really exist in a way that everyone can easily share information at the same time. In retrospect there was the SNOWCANE that the news channels gave a title to and splashed graphics across their screens several years ago in New York but there have been many "SNOWCANES" if you follow the New York media that loves to hype up anything and everything. Nuff said on names. So let's look at our map below.

This is preliminary as storms are reviewed by NHC.

This is from Jim Williams "End of the Year" review.
I suggest you watch it if you want a look back.
Please share it ....
...good job by the man who was in the eye of Michael.
A look back at 2018 Hurricane Season ...
Save it to compare to next year.
I have some thoughts on that but ...
...that's a blog for another day.

Look at all those high latitude tracks.
And the longest track of all from Africa to the Carolinas.
And it's a high latitude track avoiding the cooler MDR.
Hard to even find Beryl on that map...
Remember Beryl?
During the peak of the season we ended up with hurricanes.
Florence and Michael will be retired names.
They will go down in hurricane history.

And now we have winter that busted down our door.
Winter didn't knock gently.
Winter showed up early and refuses to leave.
The leaves on our trees are falling, clinging, falling.
The world turns below beautifully.
Look at that awesome Atlantic Gale.
Remember our old yellow circle from the NHC?
Yes it was there ....they saw it.
Yes it pulled together and swirled away..

sat_wv_east_loop-12.gif (640×512)

And look at that front trying to make it through Florida.
Look at that feed across Mexico into Texas still.
Texas had nonstop no name storms ...
...now the weather is continuing into the winter.

Will that front make it through?
NOAA says YES

You have to click to see what happens...

Today in Miami and Broward County there's fog.
Fog usually shows up in late December.
It's early this year like everything else.

My youngest brother moved from North Miami Beach up to Broward County and it puts him closer to many places he enjoys taking sunrise pictures of ...including his backyard as he is on a small lake in the Hollywood area. I like Hollywood. I complain about Broward sometimes (sorry) but to be fair North Miami Beach is pretty much South Broward as it's so far NORTH and close to the county line. TY Park is a place my mother-in-law loved and walked every day for a year or two when she lived in a senior facility across the street from there. She was raised in upstate New York and could walk for hours staring a nature. Now she's in a rest home in Maryland taking walks around the large property there but she did love TY Park. My kids have birthday parties there for their children and picnics for get togethers. It's a great, green, beautiful, verdant park but you can't tell that from the picture above that looks as if my brother was somewhere in Paris on the Seine.

That is the same park above as the fog picture I posted.
Probably close to where my brother took that picture.
Fog arrives in winter in Miami.
A few days here and there out of nowhere.
Winter came early this year everywhere.

Snow maps show the next five days.
Again Mike has these up on his site.
And some new links I noticed....
 Below is the "freeze line"
Note it goes down to the Florida Panhandle.

And today a good part of the country ...
..is covered in precipitation of some kind.
What a perfect day for Cyber Monday.

I changed my plans for today.
I'm packing up presents.
Trying to take stock of who gets what...
..and make sure I don't miss anyone.
It's a big family.......

Ordering a few things on Amazon because it's easy.
Maybe buy something for me?
Maybe... we'll see.

Will mail out stuff when the sun comes out.
And then...enjoy the cooler weather.

People who know me and know how much I love Florida also know I have come to love this time of year in the Carolinas. Dry air means I breathe better and am less prone to Summertime sinus headaches that are horrible in Miami and I have less pollen problems up here this time of year. I like the way the trees look showing off their beautiful structure and I can see the sky again! Well unless it gets down into the teens I like dressing up in leggings and short skirts over high boots or wearing a pair of jeans with an oversized soft shirt. It's one reason I loved LA in that the winter was always beautiful and storms would come through and clear out the basin and you could see the mountains in all directions including some with snow on top of them. I'm dreaming.... of Seattle but my mother dance card is filled through February with places I need to be and promises I need to keep. Lord I'd love to sneak away for a few days but it usually takes me that long to get past the long trip to Seattle to see my son and his family there and... a city I have come to love intensely.

What do you love? Is it on sale today? One of the best things about "Cyber Monday" is it's a time to load up on basics you need in life that are often on sale or sold on a 15% or 25% or even a 30% discount. Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof Black Noir is on my list as it's a staple in my life. There's a pricey item I buy once a year from Dior that blurs the lines between my eyes so I look way younger than I am (good genes really.... though Estee Lauder gets credit as does Drunk Elephant ....Google it if you need) so yeah I'm a bit boring as I'm not buying any big tag items this year. I'll be looking for deals on products I use often around the house (not just make up) and I'm decorating for Chanukah that also comes early this year.

Happy shopping and stocking up on that dream item or those things you use often that you need at discount. Good luck with presents (think gift cards....they work well for older kids and adults) and as my father used to say "you gotta do what you gotta do" and so I suggest you do it with love and happiness and joy. I got some good Hungarian genes from him ;) (and Lithuania/Baltic too) and yes go for the Ancestry discounts today if you want to find any surprises under your tree in a few weeks ;) Thanks for reading this mish mosh today of deep information and run on sentences and thanking my meteorological friends who have enriched my life in so many ways over the years... Still going strong as the song goes...

Ha... weather is on sale this year.

For Fishing...
For Sue...
For you know who you are....

And for those of you ready for some holiday music.... it's the most wonderful time of the year!

Enjoy Andy Williams singing of the most wonderful time of the year from 1963 a wonderful year in that a few of my closest friends are born that year (good people) and a younger brother who is in Greece somewhere and hey you can buy his book as a stocking stuffer or if you are looking to read poems and prose while sitting on the toilet this book is for you. If you read it you'll understand that as he has some fascination with broken toilets in his fantastic collage art. Yes, we are all originals in our family, different as night and day and winter and summer yet we have one thing that binds us... creativity oozing out of our veins and whether we are authors or photographers we are always looking through the world through the eyes of an artist.

I don't make this up... see one of his recent works. His work is deep, devilish and delightful depending on his mood. Check it out on Amazon if you know someone who likes to read new authors and has a good sense of humor and an appreciation of poetry, prose and the arts.

Hurricane Oscar Out in the Middle of the Atlantic Dancing with the Front, Going Out to Sea. High Surf for Bermuda. 105 MPH - Cat 2. Wicked Weather in South Tomorrow Again... Tropics and Halloween.

Look how bulked up Oscar is.
Also about to merge with the front.
But for now holding his own.
105 MPH - Category 2

Holding his own for now...
Reminiscent of Florence in ways.
Between a rock and 2 hard places.

Models on top and center at Spaghetti Models
Out to sea.

Will bring high surf to Bermuda.
Maybe Affect Europe..
North Sea.

What is next?

More strong weather along the Gulf of Mexico..
Deep South and Southeast.

Tomorrow should bring really bad weather down there.
Winter obviously is NEXT...
but... there is still tropical moisture out there.

Oscar at the top left.
More tropical moisture Westbound.

Until that faucet is fixed.
It bears watching.
What starts there can get into the Caribbean.
How you ask?
Between frontal systems.
Indian Summer...
That warm up that comes in early November.
That's why storms that form in the Carib...
...catch the next cold front out to the NE usually.

Halloween?
What are you dressing up as?
Dangerous subject these days.

Cranky put this in his blog yesterday.
What is that?
Wolf?
Scary Man?
Incredible really...
...nothing like Mother Nature.

If I was going to a party...
..I'd probably dress up as a Flapper.
:)

Or a Gypsy...
Both dance.

Maybe I'll wear one of Mike's shirts...
or a www.hurricanecity.com tee shirt.
I'll dress up as a Storm Chaser.
Maybe it's too soon round these parts.

Whatever your plans...
Keep it safe.
Have fun.
Let your inner Super Hero come out ;)

Eye of Hurricane Michael... Video... Thoughts on the Eye of a Hurricane.

Remember that image?
I posted it from a larger posted.
it's not doctored in any way.
Just cut it down to the eye.
And indeed it looked like a person's eye.
Michael's eye.
Below in Black and White.

Moving towards landfall.
Perfection.

Jim Williams was in the eye.
The edge of the eye.
It got quiet and calm.
He reached for the car door to get out...
...it got really windy and things went flying.
I laughed.
Sorry... I wasn't worried about him.
He's smart, very smart and cautious.
Was just kind of funny to me.

The eye of Michael, plain and simple. I decided it needed it's own blog post and one I could refer to or find for myself easily to remember. Impressive video. I've been in the EYE and it's something you never forget. Surreal in ways as suddenly after a symphony of meteorological noise during the first part of the hurricane that is one part debris hitting into things, trees falling down nearby, the roar... the unmistakable roar of the hurricane wind louder at times and the slamming of rain and objects caught in strong squalls and then suddenly after hours it stops...and it's quiet and the blue sky comes out above and if you are luck you can see the sun shining down. Surreal but very real. You almost feel giddy after all the noisy, dangerous drama the sun is shining and there are blue skies. Sometimes you see the edge of the eye wall but usually that comes at you fast with the return of the cacophony of horrific noise and the need to once again hunker down until the second half of the hurricane has passed on somewhere else. You almost feel you are imagining the quiet, still calm of the eye but you remember it forever.

The Eye on Earthnull.
The center... very clear and visible.

Amazingly the eye or the "center" of Michael was still going strong as it moved into North Carolina. So now I'll leave you with video and some thoughts to wonder on and to remember the fury of the eye wall the surrounds the eye where the most dangerous, deadly winds are and should you ever have the chance to be in the eye of a hurricane....... remember stay near your safe spot and get back in it fast as the back side of the eye comes back with a fury stronger usually than the front side of the eye.

Another view.

Some video of Irma on Big Pine Key.

Hurricane raging....

Hurricane above.
Then the wind stops as seen below.

The sounds of a hurricane?
Turn your sound up.

And then it stops.
And the rain stops.
And the wind stops.
And the sun comes out if you are lucky.
But be careful where you are....
...when the eye wall comes back fast.
If you are far from safety..
..you run for your life!

I can still see my son running back to the house.
After telling us he "knew what he was doing" going to a friend.
And then.......
WHAM...
The wind picked up, the sky turned dark that moment.
It got very very very windy.
And he came running back down the street to the house.
I smiled.

Yeah......"Thank you God"
Good timing.
And we locked the door.
Bolted it.
Pushed the china cabinet back in front of it.
And hunkered down til it was over.

Some eyes are easier than others.
Some eyes are longer than others.
But then the second half of the storm returns.

This is when many people die actually.
They venture out to go check on their friend...
....To check on damage.
... maybe they can repair something fast.

The 1926 Great Miami Hurricane was a huge hurricane with a huge eye and it was moving slowly. It was mean and sneaky as the eye coincided with sunrise and daylight and to people not aware of what a hurricane was they thought they had made it safely through the dark night and the storm was gone. They got in their Model T Fords and drove away from safety across the bridge into Downtown Miami to check on their stores. Old timers begged them not to go but they were sure the storm was gone... the storm surge came back down the river, the wind blew and many were blown away. On Miami Beach people tried to get back to Miami and their cars were swept away as they tried to get back across the causeway to Miami to relative safety. During the eye you go out, look around and don't go very far from where ever your safe place is .... but in 1926 before satellite imagery and radar people didn't know where the weather was and didn't understand what a hurricane was and people died when the fierce second half of the eye raced back over Miami and Miami Beach. It happens in every storm, no matter how much we know now and how much information we have it's human nature to venture out and look about and try to check on a neighbor or a relative or run down the block to a friend's house and we think we can do it fast before the eyewall returns.

Turn your sound up loud.
This is Jim Leonard who passed away a few years ago.
A legend truly in Hurricane Chasing.
The second half of Hurricane Charley.

I leave you with this because everyone always complains about Hurricane Charley. In any Chat Room or discussion on Facebook Live when Mike is talking people always ask him about how "sure" they are and mention Hurricane Charley. For those who went through the eye of Hurricane Charley ... those who thought they had lower chances of being in the eye than other places and faced a hurricane stronger than they expected they never ever forget Hurricane Charley. Every hurricane that makes it into the Eastern Gulf of Mexico reminds them of Charley and they worry that once again they will find themselves facing the wrath of a strong, powerful Category 4 Hurricane. Turn the sound up and you may understand why.....

Follow me @bobbistorm on Twitter

Ps... With extreme admiration for those who took the videos and gathered the data... those I know online and those I am friends with in person and know well. For those who have been through the eye of a hurricane as I have and some of us have been through more than one eye... each is different, the power and force of nature when it is on a rampage is never forgotten.

Somethings to Talk About Tropical and Otherwise. Chris, X Beryl Trying to Make a Come Back. Midwest Wild Weather. Cold Fronts Early. African Wave Train.

You notice two things here above.
Deep reds and oranges nearing the Great Lakes.
A large circulation off of Africa ...
..and a wave behind it coming off today.

Waves shown above.
Two very healthy waves.
Saharan Dust is waiting for them.
Classic for this time of year.
No not really...
...we are ahead of schedule this year.
The waves are actually healthier.

That's a healthy

Put it all in motion.

hiatlsat_None_anim.gif (768×496)

The waves in the Atlantic are mentioned below.
Also mentioned are the high winds in the Caribbean.

Going to point out some things this morning and then move on to do some things I need to get done. I suppose we could name today's blog "Somethings worth watching" :)

When looking at the wide view of the Atlantic and it's associated land masses it is very hard not to notice the huge wave coming off of Africa. There is actually another huge wave axis that moved off of Africa recently that is maintaining convection on the South side of it much like Beryl and most strong waves do this time of year. They, like people, find their energy where they can get it and work with what they have to get where they are going. Some people like regular old American Coffee such as Folgers or Maxwell House, others like Nespresso like me...  some drink Coffee, Tea or even Red Bull. There are some rare people who don't do any form of energy or drink and they drink water. Well, water is the most beneficial energy drink any of us can drink and coffee, tea and even Red Bull start with water somewhere. Water in the tropics needs to be the right temperature to get tropical convection blowing and rolling so that it makes it's way across the Planet to ours side of the world. Each wave that dies out in the East Atlantic puts moisture into the atmosphere readily available to the next wave behind it. Waves are it seems "team players" having each other's back and lending support even when they aren't going to make the trek themselves.

The end result of this process is that when the Atlantic heats up a bit more and the Saharan Dust wanes some as it is prone to do later in the summer as we approach the peak of the Hurricane Season some wave coming off of Africa with a great looking low pressure center attached will develop and become a problem. Even somewhat slow years often produce one or two dangerous, way too viable hurricanes. Sometimes they develop close in and other times they take their time, getting dangerously closer to the Islands and then develop. Every year is similar, every year is different yet the one constant is Hurricane Season really gets going later in the summer. My one problem with this year is that it feels as if we are running several weeks ahead of schedule. Time will tell how this plays out.

As for Chris it is one hell of a storm. I really cannot say enough about what a tremendous feat it achieved by even BEING a very strong Category 2 Hurricane in Early July over marginally warm water, with dry air from the nearby cold front and high pressure system that built over him trapping him below where he looped and looped yet did not die out. Had that front not been in early July (also rare) who knows for sure where and if Chris would have made landfall somewhere. Thirty Four such storms  have made landfall in North Carolina since recorded history and Chris most likely would have been thirty five if it had not paralleled the coast and made landfall further to the North. Chris was a real fighter and it's worth noting that even though it stayed off our coast it didn't ignore land further North.

Jim Williams has a way of predicting where hurricanes will go.
He makes a yearly forecast.
His forecast last year was dead on for hurricane tracks.
This year his forecast is so far on the money also.

Sable Island was his #1 pick.
You can check out more on his website.

2. Chris still recognizable
Spread out at a high latitude.
Dangerous still.

3. Cold front moving off of the Carolinas.
Associated weather...
Early July.

4. Remnants of Beryl.
Nothing there yet.
But we are watching.
50/50 odds still by NHC
Chris left Beryl cooler waters.
Let's see what XB has under the hood.

Keep watching.

Lastly the wave off of Africa.
A wave train forming.
Needs to be watched in the long term.

Again these are the players above.

Midwest storms.
Chris.
Cold front near OBX
X Beryl
Wave Train by Africa.

Now a look around Twitter at what people are talking about and why you should think on these meteorological events.

Cranky is concerned about Chris.
Wanna know why?
Cause even downgraded to Extra Post Whatever...
It's going to be one big blow.
He shows that with great maps.
Good solid discussion.

What an amazing set of pictures.
Side by side.
Inspired Cantore to wax hyperbole today.

James Taylor needs to write a song for that one.
I've seen snow and I've seen tropical rain.
16 days apart.
Amazing.

DaBuh is watching the African Wave.
Interaction with SAL

DaBuh is more often right than wrong.
Either way he explains the pattern.
Presents the possibilities.

Wicked Weather in the Mid West.

Weather Nation covers weather.
Tornado near Red Lake Minnesota
Again all the tornado chasing action...
...has been moved to the North this year.

Is that a sunset and a funnel cloud?
Wow. Epic beautiful.

And last but very not least.
Mike and his daughter have picked a winner.
You can go to Facebook and watch the video.
Do it!
You might be the winner of his drawing...
Missy was the winner.
I always loved that name.

I have a confession to make.
Knowing Mike like I do..
I wondered if he was rating luncheon meat :(

No.... those are tickets for a raffle.

One thing I have to tell you is Mike is very genuine and real. He is who he is and he's a good father to both his daughters. The daughter above plays softball (all positions except catcher) and many of his Spaghetti Model Page Fans have helped contribute for her to go to play in Panama City, Florida. Mike donated an incredible prize for people who helped and he is extremely grateful to his wonderful fans. Those are his words, he has often waxed poetic on how wonderful his fans are and the people who talk on Facebook and discuss weather with him while watching his Facebook Live. He's inspirational in ways because he truly finds ways to enjoy life; maybe it's the moonshine...

That's it everyone. Have a wonderful Thursday and keep an eye on the weather always.

That's me... a photo I took while out storm chasing with my daughter in New York City. Yes, NYC gets crazy summer storms (that was during Hurricane Arthur passing off shore) and sometimes in years such as this when all the energy is way up north they really do walk the line between waiting on cold fronts and winter to begin and saying goodbye to Hurricane Season. I could be wrong, I'm just pointing out the pattern and this year's pattern of Tornado season taking a Northern Vacation to Wyoming and the Dakotas and Minnesota, extreme flooding and rain from Pittsburgh to Maryland and even the appearance of a hurricane off the East Coast in July all point to possible tropical problems for the Mid Atlantic later in the Hurricane Season.

Ps Some music history.
