Updated 1 PM - Iowa Flooding, Tornadoes and Tropical Disturbances....Must be May. Will Update Throughout the Day

Seems the Tropical Disturbance is doing lunch on South Beach.
Low chances but hey it's hanging out.

Note the BIG weather is in the Dixie Alley.
Flooding problems going to linger with that set up.
Also it's snowing up north so... snow melt adds to the flooding.

Miami Bimini Tropical Disturbance 10%
It's there just not something to worry on.
But it should be a reminder... it's May.

So I'm going to put this out there for you to see.
The real threat for strong weather is in the Plains.
Southern Plains to be exact.
More so flooding in Iowa....
...and that will in time move down the rivers.
Flooding is going to remain a problem for some time.

Add Twisters into that mix you have trouble.

And yes we have an area we are watching.
Something is off the Florida coast.
It will move up along the coast.
There is a brief window for development of some kind.

DaBuh explains this well.
It's that time of year.
But whatever it is...
...it is small in comparison.
A reminder....
Like that song.
Someone is knocking...
Hurricane Season is knocking.

I'll update later as models do their thing... or not.
As things develop or not.

Now is the time to watch for SALES.
When Hurricane Supplies go on SALE....
...BUY THEM ON SALE.
Stock them up as best as you can.
It will help later in the year.
Because trust me someone is knocking...
Many someones.
These are some of the names that will be knocking.

Put the weather in motion...

There is something down there ... a tropical reminder.
What should you do?
Best thing you can do is get a plan.
Begin buying hurricane supplies.
And if you live where weather is flaring up today.
Stay tuned to your local weather people.
Pay attention to any warnings on your phone.
Weather can flare up fast in South Florida.
Nice image from my son Levi Meyer.

Storm clouds over Miami....
Wow would I love that view.
Building under construction.
You could sit and watch the weather all day.

Bottom Line:
Florida....GA SC and NC Beaches.
If you like stormy weather vs sunny.
You'll love the beach this weekend.
But be aware as it moves up the FL coast...
Surf will pick up and rip tides will be a problem.
Swim safely and watch out for fast forming Thunderstorms!

The NAM shows weather off shore.
Gray days at the beach.
The kind only storm chasers could love.

Note Josh iCyclone knows where the real hurricanes are...

Currently NOT on our side of the world.
But as time goes by they will.
So get a plan NOW.

That's it..... the weather data in images below.
Ps... A hurricane tee shirt is not a hurricane supply.
But think of it as spreading the word.
People stare and look.
Trust me :)

Why Deal With Winter? Move South Even IF Just For The Winter.... Carolina is Good... Snows and Then Melts Fast. South Florida Truly Paradise. Live Like It's Margaritaville ALL The Time!

Just why?
I don't get why people live there.
I've been to Boston (in the summer)
Even August can be cold!
But in the winter?

Granted my Great, Great Grandparents came from over there, up north where it was cold all the time even in the summer (by Florida standards) and dealt with winter for a good part of the year. But over time we evolved, migrated and some distant relative heard about a "beautiful place after a long sea voyage" and he docked in Key West and found it good and put down roots. He opened a tinware shop, dabbled in tobacco and invested in Real Estate. Several generations later my son sells Real Estate in places that truly look as if they came from a magazine touting the beauty of the Garden of Eden. I mean look at this picture below. You could be lying on that chase lounge feeling the rays of the sun (with sun screen of course) listening to the gulls circling high up above with a view worth every dollar you spend. Why do people live where winter can last more than the three calendar months?

My great, great uncle sold real estate in Tampa.
Anna Maria Island and Holmes Beach.

Yes once every few decades there's a hurricane.
Once every winter there ARE Nor'easters
3 Nor'easters this March.
Another on the way...
Why can't they just call them:
Northeasters????

I miss hurricane season.
I miss watching west bound tropical waves.
I enjoyed the snow flakes that fell yesterday.
They are mostly melted.
You know why?
Cause we live Down South!!
Go Carolina!

It snows. It melts.
The sun is out the next day.

Soon I'll be back in Florida.
Can drive it in one day easily!!

Apparently the Gov of CT is on...
Apparently CT is closed.
Amtrak isn't running.

Just why do you need to be that person?

Okay it's a lot of money for a lot.
But oh my goodness what a lot it was..

The breeze on that lot is awesome.
A warm, soft, balmy breeze.
Think about it.
Move South.

Look at that house.
Beautiful.
Palm trees.
Sun.
Green Yard!
No snow.....

Great schools!!
Kids playing outside all year.

Just do it.
Live the Florida Lifestyle.
Even if just for the winter.
Be a Snowbird!!!
Fly South...

Dig out, get your power back and find a place in paradise. Even if it's just for the winter... seriously the only people who should be out in a Nor'Easter are people being paid to who work for The Weather Channel!

Ps... On any given day my other son Moe and his wife and baby are having breakfast here in Hollywood Florida. They get in the car ...drive around the block (hang left at Hollywood Blvd) and order coffee and breakfast with a view. This can be your view....

Just across the street from Margaritaville!
