Tropical Depression 19 Forms in the Middle of the Atlantic. "Rina" Headed Towards Europe...North Sea.

Tropical Depression 19 has formed in the middle of the Atlantic and seems destined to be Tropical Storm Rina later in the day. The center is visible in various forms of imagery, however shear is present keeping it intact. Note this extremely long hurricane season has the same list from another extremely long hurricane season 2005 so when you wonder what is in a name (or a whole bunch of names) you have to really wonder...  Again, we ponder is it seriously possible that Vinnie will show his face again to us? Keep watching as tropical entities pop up suddenly (or slowly) in the typical suspect areas.

Note the shear shoving convection to the East of the center.
The center is more visible below.

Close up of that center.

Where is it going?

Close up of that NRL map area.

Preliminary cone.
Headed towards Europe.
The North Sea is calling...

I'll update later today.
I'll also discuss the tropics in general closer to home.

Waiting on a cold front . . .in NC.
Kind of like waiting for the Fins to Win...
