Winter Storm & Storm Over Anthem of the Seas AKA "That Cruise Ship That Got Stuck in Hurricane Force Winds..."

Quick update on the winter storms & Anthem drama

First note the strong Southern Jet....

... that brought extremely cold weather to South Florida.

Also the swirl, gyre that is bringing another Winter Storm East.

I'm in Baltimore.

It's snowing.

I love it.

Not a blizzard...just pretty snow.

I want to mention how good the Capital Weather Gang was yesterday.

While others were upping the snow totals they stuck with their forecast.

Their original forecast was correct.

Those that changed it were wrong.

The winter storm began AT the Baltimore City line.

Some flakes in DC... some in Dale City, VA.

But as we drove into Baltimore there was the snow.

So....

As for the decision for the Anthem to ride through Hurricane force winds..

They have released video interviews with the Captain.

They have explained their decision.

It's a poor argument in my opinion.
