UPDATE TD7 Forms from 99L ..............Texas Rain from 90L. 99L in the Atlantic Begging for a Name. Good Times Today but Has a Bumpy Road to Get Past and If It Does.... Watch Out! Invest 91L Coming near Florida. Strong Rains Today from That System.

As the sun goes down....
...when the sun comes up it may be Gonzalo!

Tropical Depression 7 Forms from 99L.
Deep in the Atlantic on July 21st.

No watches or warnings up at this time.
I'm showing you the discussion.
It's good discussion, well written.
Explains the positives and negtives.

The above is high confidence.
Below is low confidence.
Intensity forecast.
Does it fall apart and unravel......
...or shrug shear and just keep on going.
Some models forecast a Hurricane.

Not much to add that I haven't already said.
If this survives the shear we could have a real problem.
Small systems moving steadily along often avoid shear.
Some do not.

Tropical Drama but NHC has it at a Tropical Storm tomorrow.
So check back later.
I may do a late night update with models.
We'll see.
Done Deal.
TD 7 as expected!

Earlier today they upped it fast to 80 then 90%
It's obvious the advisory for TD7 was being put together.

Note when they say "may" it pretty much is a Press Release.
They went Red before 2 PM at 11 AM.
Many wondered aloud if it would get a name at 11...
Lots of discussion online for this system.
Why?

Check out latest model intensity forecast.

From www.cyclonicwx.com
ASCAT passed over it and saw it was good.

Earthnull shows a closed system.

I've been tweeting up a storm.
While staring at loops.
This loop especially.
Dvorak is often used for an upgrade.
Sometimes especially with ASCAT

NHC watching to see if it maintains this development.

Good link to use.
https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/sat/satlooper.php?region=99L&product=ir-dvorak Note it's important to always double check not just time stamp but that the loop as I was on 99L and changed to anotehr setting and ended up on Douglas. Nice to have input from a follower who catches things. Twitter can be a very good place sometimes. Always good to have help from a friend. I do miss the floaters that they used to use but Tropical Tidbits has an abundant amount of info for people to use.

I knew I'd update today but 99L is in a hurry.
A hurry to become our next TD.
Named Storm Probably.

Time will tell.
We should know by 5 PM.
If it becomes a TD or not.

Below from 9 AM.

Putting this up at the top.
Think of it as a Ciff Notes version.
A summary of discussion.
You can choose your system today.
Close in Near Florida headed to Texas.
Or 99L looking like it needs a name.

Far out for now but headed West to our part of the world.

A look around the Tropical Atlantic.

NHC has bumped these babies up to orange for the 5 day.
Showing them above so you can see the lay of the land.
99L in the Atlantric is rolled up waiting to spin.
Many questions on down the line.
The area hovering over South Florida will be Invest 91L
Centered down in the Florida Straits.
Instigating storms over SFL and Cuba.
Recon is planning on going out there.
Looks more "there" today then yesterday.

Texas has rains from 90L
Invest 91L should be active today.
Note the South side has heavy rain.
Going where 90L went.
Heard there were good deals on hotels ;)

Last but not least....
we have 99L out in the Atlantic.

Then out in the Atlantic is Invest 99L
Gotta tell you it has real potential.
It's small and it's tightly packed.
If it makes it past the negative conditions...
...if it does we could have a big problem later.

Another wave rolls off of Africa behind it.
A much bigger, huge wave.
Earthnull shows a small heartbeat for 99L

And predicatably what will be 91L...
...follows 90L towards Texas.
Models show it may get a name.
Or at least a Tropical Depression.
Time will tell.

For Florida people.....
Miami will get wild later today.
Just rain this time around.

Florida Keys are getting strong weather.
This is radar for the Florida Straits.

So you can watch a Close in System by Florida.
Or you can stare at 99L out in the Atlantic.
Either way you slice it we are getting busy.
And we will get busier.
We will have mutliple named storms to track.
Not Invests, blobs, and tropical waves.
So use this time wisely.

I had a cousin who was very into this show. He'd watch it in real time when he was little, in reruns when he was older and somewhere today he's probably watching it online. He'd sing along with the song. I put it here because basically this is what our Wave Train looks like, but it's more like a Caravan. What is the difference? Caravans are basically moving in one general direction, some may veer off from the rest to take an alternative route from Waze and then meet up later at the designated motel or send a WhatsApp messange that they decided to take an Air B&B because they trust them better these days than a big motel and they will see them tomorrow. But they are all going to the same place with a few variances in their route. A train is set and can only travel on one set of tracks. There is a difference. We call it a Wave Train because of the romance of trains........  yet think of it more like a caravan. Enjoy the music.

I'll update in real time later today if there is any breaking news.
Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Ps. Leaving you a pretty song to watch while wondering on what will be with Invest 99L on the far side of the Atlantic. Enjoy the music.
