As the sun rises over the Gulf of Mexico...this storm defies logic. Strong hurricanes tend to go North. Strong hurricanes rarely dance in the Gulf of Mexico on November 8th. Not that the people living along the GOM coast really mind that it's sort of dropped anchor down there forecast now by the NHC to loop.
"meandering loop"
Worth noting there are cities with wind probabilities far from the current Cone. Good luck with the Cone as you need to be able to connect the dots to figure it out.
More cryptic graphics.
Seriously they make sense.
If the forecast verifies.
Let's look at the water vapor loop.
I'd say it's moving slower than 9 MPH
I'm going to leave y'all today with one post.
Post is from ContentWeather aka CW
I may update this blog later.
If anything happens.
There will be another named storm.
But Winter is in the wings.
Thanks for your patience in the blog and on X. I'm taking medicine for asthma and sinus meds and tired, spacey and oddly in a good mood. Watching the flow of life from football to politics to weather on X and sorry for any typos or mistakes. Trying to rest my eyes and take care of myself. Nothing immediately happening in the tropics regarding any landfall so taking a break.
I love North Carolina..........I really do. It's the most beautiful in November when trees actually turn gold, red and shades of orange. The Maple trees are incredible to look at and I love it. Unfortunately the Fall Allergies do me in. But I do love it. Or I'd spend November in Miami.
Sweet Tropical Dreams....or snowy ones.
