1 up in the far N ATL
We should have an Invest soon.
70% Red
My quick thoughts are there are models that have consistently shown some interaction between 2 systems in the Caribbean coming together into a named storm. Some models have hinted at 2 named systems, one strong but one going longer, further.
The real question here is the High and where the High will be when this system finally comes together. When you have more than 1 IF on the map it ups the ante for confusion and models that disagree. Until we have a closed center come together we are taking stabs at possibilities. So for now, everyone is in it regarding the "watching the tropics" game, but remember this time of year it's very hard to get a strong hurricane spinning as they move up into the Gulf of Mexico as usually fronts appear and shear appears along with the front and you know where this goes if you've been reading my blog. They catch a ride on the Cold front, weather goes wide, lots of wind and depending on the angle and strength of the front and named storm they can unwind and fall apart or go rushing off fast inland.
1 big IF
2 areas being monitored in the Caribbean.
Sun rising on our PR system.
