Is Rafael Forming in the Caribbean? Cuba Bound? Havana in the Cross Hairs. Jamaica .. Then........GOM Coastal Areas Need to Watch Carefully?

 

This is a "hold my beer" post this morning as Recon is going into the Invest area and we will see if there is some sort of upgrade in status later today. Currently we are at 90% in the 7 day, 80% in the 2 day. Current models are shown below.

Cuba, especially Havana could get hit hard.

Note one outlier to the East.

Sure you noticed it....

Models spray the GOM coastline...

....looking for a solution.

Jamaica also is in the cross hairs.

Down the road another system may form.

Two possibly. More on that later.
