Invest 92 ... Major Intense Ophelia

Invest 92L is located in The Atlantic near the Northern Leeward Islands. The NHC is monitoring it for possible development. It currently has a 40% chance of developing over the next five days. Unlike Irma and Maria no rapid intensification is expected. It's just currently a strong tropical wave.. that the National Hurricane Center is watching for development.

So far all of the models keep the future Philippe out to sea. As always we need to watch this carefully to make sure that nothing changes. For instance if it forms closer to the coast versus further out to sea that might change something.

But tonight except for Hurricane Ophelia  out at sea eventually possibly ending up near Great Britain. Ophelia is a major hurricane very far into the Eastern Atlantic which is extremely unusual but not so unusual this year. Definitely consistent..  maybe she'll go to Ireland.

I'm in Miami this evening preparing for my brother's wedding tomorrow.  We had crazy rain over the weekend and bright sunshine in between the bands of crazy rain. I had a wonderful holiday. The new synagogue in North Miami Beach for Chabad is open and absolutely beautiful. Friends family it was really nice...

I'll update in the AM if there is anything...

Sorry for any typos...
