Miami Weather Be Like Crazy

This was being passed around Facebook yesterday in the Miami area..
means.. Miami weather be like loco
it is how we speak in Miami
a little bit of Spanish
a little bit of English
Be Like Miami

Understand American kids born and raised in Miami be like this :)

Example...

As I sit here typing this... it's sunny outside, it's pouring..there is thunder and parrots are singing.

Miami is like wonderful :)

Understand ten minutes before it began to pour the sky looked like this...

DARK....

Then I went inside...it began to rain.. see top pool picture...........

Then........less than 3 minutes later the sun came out, parrots began to sing and I heard thunder and it continued to pour rain down ...down...down into the pool setting the water to motion as if it was dancing.

I went inside to check the satellite loops... the sun came out even stronger...

It's dark and thundering again....

Technical discussion...
there's a trough hanging around
a Seabreeze Front potential...
Landbreeze.....
Rainy Season

And...it feels like rain.......
smells like rain too ;)

my brother took that pic to show me his block..
we exchange rain pics
Miami kids (rolling eyes...) be like weather crazy :)

In high school in Miami we would stare outside watching clouds build high into the sky..

Spent the day yesterday hanging around my old haunts...

Miami Coral Park Sr. High :)  Go Rams!

West Miami Jr. High... not such a great pic... but great place to grow up.

And.........as for me you'll find me today out with my old best friend Janelle somewhere on Bird Road or Coral Way or somewhere in between and I'll be watching the clouds and waiting for rain...

As for the tropics... Tropical Storm Christina is playing in the EPAC theater meaning you can count a few days to a week before there is any real possibility of anything really forming in the Carib. Very happy, by the way, they did not name that small little Invest Arthur... really. Not worth the name...

As for our side of the tropical basin there are beautiful low level, westbound tropical waves that look nice but are way too soon to develop. And, in the GOM and over South Florida read official discussion below:

"GULF OF MEXICO...
AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH PREVAILS OVER THE SE GULF WITH AXIS
EXTENDING FROM OVER THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER DELTA REGION NEAR
30N88W SE TO A BASE OVER WESTERN CUBA NEAR 23N82W. MIDDLE TO
UPPER LEVEL LIFTING DYNAMICS CONTINUE TO GENERATE ISOLATED
SHOWERS AND TSTMS N OF 24N E OF 84W. ELSEWHERE...LOW TO MIDDLE
LEVEL RIDGING PREVAILS ACROSS THE GULF WATERS WITH OVERALL
SUBSIDENCE MAINTAINING RELATIVELY DRY AND STABLE CONDITIONS THIS
MORNING. THE SURFACE RIDGE AXIS EXTENDS FROM THE SW NORTH ATLC
ACROSS THE CENTRAL FLORIDA PENINSULA ALONG 26N/27N TO THE TEXAS
GULF COAST NEAR CORPUS CHRISTI. ANTICYCLONIC WINDS GENERALLY
REMAIN IN THE RANGE OF 10 TO 20 KT WITH LIGHTER WINDS NOTED
ACROSS THE EASTERN GULF E OF 88W. THIS SYNOPTIC PATTERN IS
FORECAST TO PERSIST THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK WITH
LITTLE CHANGE EXPECTED."

But...BobbiStorm's Bottom Line... It feels like rain.........

The GFS does keep insisting on developing something next week... an ongoing theme this year but we all seem to wait for the EURO to hop on board the tropical development train before screaming "DEVELOPMENT SOON"

Mike has this excellent read up on his Facebook Page.

"GFS is not backing down. If it is correct we should start to see building of Low pressure East of the Yucatan early next week. EURO showed lowering of pressures for the area in some of it's runs but nothing organized as far as a system goes. Will keep watching! On the Pacific side Christina has formed... but shouldn't be a threat to any land. Make sure to check the website as I try and tweak daily. And if you ever have any links or suggestions please let me know! Thanks!www.spaghettimodels.com"

I'm watching.

Besos Bobbi
