Pouring Rain in the Carolinas.. Thunder & Dark as Night...




The point of the picture above is not to show off the pretty, purple azaleas. It's pouring so hard in Raleigh today that it got so dark outside that the lights came on outside.


It's so dark inside my bedroom..with the lights off.. it looks like an eclipse not a rain storm..
and it's gotten dark since I took this picture.. 





So, where is it coming from?

Look at that moisture feeding in around the spinning low that has been anchored over the North Georgia, Tennessee border.

They are having major flooding in some places in Western Carolina.

Yup... you can have real problems inland, far from the ocean ... can't you?
