June 3rd.... 10% Yellow Area Off Florida

There's a yellow area being watched with 10%

What that means is rain.
Tropical heavy rains.
Not organized currently....

Lots of convection down to the Yuke and Cuba
There's a general spin in there somewhere.
At most we are talking tropical depression.
According to official sources.
Tail end of a front over hot water.
Oozing up over the Gulfstream (warm)
Could spin up a little Low.
Time will tell.

This is your typical close in system that we call homegrown and that we watch for in set ups such as this one, this time of year. NHC watching it. Not to say some people will have heavy, localized flooding and social media will be filled with images of Florida going underwater. Happens often with No Name Storms, and other times they get designation.

On May 26th I posted this in the blog that I thought around June 3rd there would be something. Something meaning an area highlighted close in that would get attention and we'd be watching. Today, June 3rd we have our yellow Invest with low chances off the Florida coast with some models wrapping it up into something (Invest? TD? Tropical Rain??) further up the coast.  So that verified!!

I'll update tomorrow morning when we know more about this and anything else going on. My holiday was nice, fast and the weather in NC has been picture perfect. Relatives in Florida complained it rained heavy, and that happens during the Rainy Season in Miami. The stalled out front juiced up the atmosphere and NHC let everyone know they see it.

More tomorrow

Elsewhere whatever.

Ps Yes, oddly in a Western State of Mind but here on the East Coast in Hurricane Country. Great video.
