Updated for Invest 98L - Sunday Tropical Round Up... What's Out There Besides Number 5?

2 day above.
Note the GOM area is now Invest 98L

5 day below.

Quick update for continuity sake as the NHC has introduced a Tropical Wave that made it across the Atlantic leading the pack there and upped the chances of development near the SE coast. A huge orange balloon like area that should pop with something over the next few days. I heard storms over South Florida were wild today and around the same time we had a crazy line move through Raleigh. It was a nice day. Summer time and a trip to the State Farmer's Market and then came home and made Southern Fried Chicken with Collards, Cole Slaw and French Fries for dinner. A very All American Meal if you live down here in this part of the world. Oh and some non-dairy but delicous .."So Delicious" Cashew, Caramel, Chocolate Ice Cream. And that was the weekend that was ... as we move deeper into July with more color on the NHC Home Page... somewhere, something real has to give ... and of course Five is still there...

Okay 5 is hard to find.
But it's there.
And the NHC says the window is there.
...for it to get a name.
So let's see how that works out.

Cliff Notes Here...
Fast Summary of today's blog.

5 is looking a bit better today than yesterday.
A kind of low bar but yeah.

Where is it going?
Apparently to see the Queen.

Next area we will watch carefully.
The Low at the end of the frontal boundary.
Works it's way up the boundary.
Probably spins on the other end.
Watching off the SE Coast for development.
It's a possibility. 30% at 8 AM.
Will we get an orange circle later today?

Now moving on to Africa.
A beautiful low lattitude wave has some spin.

Too early to consider it and yet...
...it has a purple splotch so watch it.

The image on the right shows how hot it is..
...it's hot.
This product actually likes the wave over our yellow circle.

You can see why...
...tho this may be a short term love affair!

Either way the SE will get rain this week.
The 5 Day is shown below.
Abundant, ample moisture.

And lastly...
...a good product Mike added to Spaghetti Models.

Summertime is filled with weather hazards.
From flooding to severe weather.
A good addition to an already great page.

Moving on.
