July 4th Begins with a Bang in the Tropics as the NHC Elevates the Yellow Circle to Red and it Becomes Tropical Drepression 5...Yellow Fireworks in the NE GOM

So yeah they did that.
Upgraded the Yellow to TD 5
Forecast to be a Tropical Storm.
If so it gets the E name.
So will know by Sunday morning.

If it's Edouard he has a friend.
Yellow Circle in NE GOM

As for TD 5
These are the stats below.

Pointing out the NHC discussion.
Unless they change tactics at 11 PM.
It's slated to get a name.

It cucrently doesn't look like much.
But they often pick up steam in this area.
So we will keep monitoring it.

As for the tropics in general...
...my big lop below shows possibilities.
But not much going on.

It's July 4th.
Rumor has it you can watch Las Vegas Fireworks online.

As for me I had a beautiful, quiet, relaxing day. Around sunset there were beautiful pink and coral ribbons of color in the sky. I sat out on the balcony with some ginger ale and wine (yeah that's a thing this summer) and watched the fireflies flitter about and listening to crickets doing their summer thing and off in the distance as the sun set you began to hear kids shooting off fireworks. Lots of noise, but not much color as the fireworks at the Golf Course don't seem to be happening. I talked a neighbor a bit, enjoyed the  evening and now I'm going to go watch some fireworks online. I'll post some a video later if I find one that's just right.

Have a beautiful July 4th Weekend.
