Patricia & Remants of 92L Head to Texas. Forecast Flooding, Strong Weather Possible. Tropical Misery and Tequila

Sometimes a picture doesn't tell the whole story.

It is true there are no tropical cyclones expected in the Atlantic Basin.
Well that's the NHC prediction.
We've had a few close in pop up so far this year...
Hope there are no Halloween surprises..

But as spoken about earlier the area formed in the Pacific.

A cone doesn't tell the whole story either.
The problem with Patricia is she is not going quietly out to sea.

Thinking that might be a Tequila flavored cone ;)

Look at the moisture feed every where  pulling SW to NE

You see it in the Atlantic.
You also see it across Mexico up into the SW.
No wall is gonna keep that moisture out ...

Almost looks like there is a cyclone over New Mexico
West Texas is in play.
A good part of Texas will be in play.
And its all pushing East...
Check out the flow in the Pacific North of Hawaii
Check out the hurricane in the Pacific.
Beautiful Hurricane.

Watch how all the moisture pushes West and that Westward Ho..
...brings much rain to the the desert SW and most of Texas.

What is the concern here?
Huge amounts of rain over a long period of time.
Plumes and plumes of tropical moisture.
Enough rainfall to cover most of Texas...
...the way South Carolina had a while back.

It's a Tropical Texas Two Step
A rain dance of misery headed inland.

How does this play out?
Let's look at the Gulf of Mexico.
Remember what was Invest 92L?
Sort of poofed away when Patricia bloomed ;)

Now let's look at the loop.
Connect the dots.
Tropical moisture from remnants of 92L and Patricia.
Are going to cause tropical misery for many.
Might not have the name Kate but.....
.... is a name important if your arroyo floods??

This was posted by Larry Cosgrove who is a great met who lives in Texas.

Tropical Rain with no name.
Enhanced by moisture from Patricia in the Pacific.

Note the orange and reds advancing on Texas.
In the Atlantic East of Florida.........
There is an area that is being watched casually...

Note the area being highlighted by NOAA is where Joaquin formed.

Keep watching...
