40% Orange Circle to be Grace? Fred has a friend. Is Erika finding her center?

The tropics today look busy.

As if a child only was given 2 crayons.

Blue and Purple.

Lots of color but no Invest for the orange circle on NHC.

No Invest for remains of Erika.

Fred... in dream land not getting anywhere.

You see Fred has a new friend.

Some people say her name is Grace.

She's dressed in orange or maybe has orange hair.

You know like Charlie Brown's dream girl.

This is a bit confusing.

Try following along.

In order to see the new wave with the Orange Circle...

...you need to look at long loops.

As of 5 PM it has no Invest and no Floater.

What many are calling GRACE is near Africa.

Lower down than Fred... wants to cross under the strong high.

The area off of the coast of FL formerly known as Erika..

...does have a floater but no Invest.

You can see Erika's problem here.

Note the floater labeled it Erika not me.

Strong flow, pushing storms away from its center.

Perhaps we have a jumper...

Where is the center?

Does Erika have a "true North" ??

She may go South... who knows....

Looks better from far away than up close...

What was Erika is lingering off the coast of Florida.

A naked swirl up close with an orange dress blown away.

The convection is not over her circle.

Water vapor shows a strong flow of moisture in the GOM.

I still think it's possible something could spin there.

Shear would need to quiet down.

Note I'm going to leave this up again here... It's great footage and a good reminder than even then astronauts in the sky were taking pics of the tropics down below. 1965.. oh what a time it was for the Atlantic, Weather Modification programs and the Space Program .. lots of programs. A real #TBT as we remember Hurricane Betsy, like Andrew and Katrina she did Florida and Louisiana.
