Edouard, Fay? & Gonzo... For now only Edouard exists... A Lot of Tropical Speculation

Edouard & 2 Invests on the Navy Site... hmnnnn

There's a lot going on in the Atlantic today from the perspective of speculation. In reality none of these systems are doing anything momentous. I suppose that's good for many, but for now we are in the speculating stages.

Edouard is forecast to stay out to sea ...though I see he is forecast to become a Hurricane.

"

The unmanned NASA Global Hawk aircraft is dropping numerous sondes
near and around Edouard and these data are being ingested by
global models to help with the initialization.

Seems an interesting use of the plane for a forecast that is pretty sure with high confidence.

We will know more later. For now we expect it to become Hurricane Edouard later this week.

As for the X moving over Florida into the GOM it is being watched carefully for possible development in the Gulf of Mexico.

What it is we ain't exactly sure... to quote a song. But, something is definitely there.

Before I go off for the Jewish Sabbath AKA Shabbos... I'll write up thoughts on possibilities. Battle lines being drawn ..no bodies right if every one is wrong.  NWS offices from Mobile to Galveston are watching this system as well as areas in Tex/Mex. Models are not clear and the real reason for this is we have yet to have a defined center.

It's like Ancestry. You have to start somewhere and by the way...most their "hints" are your cousins who are also lost...

You have to have a name somewhere... a place... something to start researching.

With tropical models you need a defined low pressure center that IS the center.

Find the center. Go for it. It's oozy at best.

So are the models.

This is really an October going into November set of tracks... for an Indian Summer period where a system swirls around disorganized in the GOM making everyone nuts waiting for a drop dead gorgeous cold front to actually make it down and not stall out over Carolina.

Anyone want to buy a ticket on that tropical cruise around the GOM??

Next we have Invest 93L that I sort of like the most oddly. Sorry Edouardo..

If it forms it will forever be GONZO in my mind. I read a great book about a woman who was the muse for Thompson S. Hunter trying to understand my crazy life... and whatever odd talents I have that seem to inspire crazy artists.. so going with GONZO guys...

There it is the Atlantic Basin.

What was that great line I love from Cat Ballou? When she loses it and is angry at her "gang" and accuses no one of loving her enough to rob one little ole train for her.

"Some gang! An Indian ranch hand, a drunken gunfighter, a sex maniac, and an uncle!"   Yup.

Still can always make me smile on any given day. Great movie. ORIGINAL.

So... let's see what Eduoard can do? As for Fay... maybe messy GOM storm and GONZO in the far Eastern Atlantic still lower than Edouard..remember that.

Besos for now Bobbi

Ps... yeah crazy writer he was he was... cray cray. Check back later for more detailed meteorlogical thoughts and less wonderings on literature and the life of a muse.
