Invest Goes Orange ... Miami HEAT Win!
The GFS takes a very weak system into Florida around the same location that the Canadian makes landfall!
I think I am going to call this storm the I95 Storm as after it makes landfall in the Big Bend of Florida it hauls it's way up I-95 all the way home to the North Atlantic. Pretty good for a storm that earlier today the models didn't like and many still do not like her. Then again, if pressures drop and she pulls together and the scenario looks plausible they will begin to notice her and we may have a Tropical Depression or Tropical Storm Andrea sooner rather than later.
Either that or the NHC lit up the map in honor of the MIAMI HEAT...
I think something changed and it wasn't Dwayne Wade but the system in the Gulf.
We will know more tomorrow.
As for the Miami Heat which is as tropical a basketball team you can find as nothing is more tropical than downtown Miami... and like weather you can't always second guess how big sporting events work out and for Miami it worked out just the way we expected. The Dream Team and their pack of other great players showed up and played their heart out!
Got to love it. And, got to say that all of you haters out there... you just don't know what you are missing.

And, sometimes in the tropics things happen that the models don't see about to happen... and then they do.
The answer may be in the Water Vapor loop as you can see below. The digging that was going on earlier today over the Gulf of Mexico is not as evident and a center of sorts is trying to coalesce in an area of relative shear and it's a mathematical equation of pluses and minuses as to whether or not this storm that will get a new name, but that retains the remnants of Barbara develops into Andrea. Sounds like a psychological thriller ...
Keep watching...
Oh and in Key West and the rest of South Florida flooding has been a problem all day.

(you see the picture, read the article above)
Watch the video from KW and remember...this is without a named storm.
Are you sure you are ready for the 2013 hurricane season?
Sweet Tropical Dreams,
