Andrea at 3 PM Friday... Drowning Raleigh in Torrential Rains.

This is the street in front of my house. Off Harrison Ave. near Downtown Cary

Hello from the "City of Oaks"   . . .it's raining it's pouring ....Sir Walter Raleigh is snoring..

The rain started really heavy around 2PM just as the NHC said it would and it was torrential and still is ... it's still pouring. Water drains here, however this is a lot of water and some streets have been closed due to flooding in Cary and in Raleigh.

TC Activity

Note the position of Andrea at 2Pm though I would argue it's a little bit higher.. like IN NC.
Notice the yellow circle moving slowly west to the theme song of JAWS ...

I went out earlier and took these pics, awesome out there really before the storm moved over us.

Oddly that looks like the same storm line my son saw on his way to Gainesville...

Those are real pictures not played with in any way... as the cellphone took them..

It's thundering now... nice to hear thunder and a little wnd outside but not much

Pressure is 29.55 - - - I guess we are having a TROPICAL STORM :)

(hey if i don't get to the beach it doesn't seem the same... the Mall in a storm to get good pics..)

Check out the video from the pool of water with a current in it in front of our house..
....it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow, it should go away soon..

As for NYC... pay attention.. there has been some inconsistency as to you being in the cone..
....I'd prepare accordingly as you don't want to go out to dinner & find out you are back in the cone!

Wycliff Road and 440 closed
Leesville Road had 3 feet of water
