VERY STRONG SURF ... OC, Watch Gulf of Mexico for Development

This is Ocean City... Maryland... far, far, far from Tropical Storm Leslie...yet her impact is being felt along the coastline up this way. Down in Carolina it's wild too.

Very few people are in the water, mostly standing lined up watching the waves while life guards tell people to get out of the water.

I'll update later on the storms as there isn't much to say that has changed.

The beach has changed. Two days ago guests here in this hotel were in the water with their small children. Yesterday the waves got stronger and they retreated towards the pool.... today they won't even go out to the ocean... in Ocean City...

Beautiful, wild sunrise and watched as the waves got stronger all day. 

In ankle deep water the waves were crashing up the beach and up to my waist... had to stop taking pics, put the cellphone away and just enjoy the view.
