Tropical Illusions & Rainy Weekend in Miami

A lot of tropical illusions today to talk about. Some look better than they are and some are hiding, hiding and waiting to pulse up and cause tropical rain.

A nice wave off of Africa, far away and has a long way to go. Keep watching. It's low, possible later but nothing to write home about.

A wave approaching our world NE of Puerto Rico cruising west like all the rest have this season. On some sats it is there and other sats you can barely see it.

A wave in the Bahamas or as they like to call it a "wave axis" that sort of stretches the length of the Bahamas. Flared up around Haiti yesterday. Will flare up around Cuba. One part connected with an old invest flared up complete with bands yesterday. Then, hid it's head down in the ocean again. It is there, in stealth mode and it will flare u later today with the heating of the day. There is also a new stronger upper level low flowing in tandem with the wave. Watch it on the WV loop and wonder... as it moves west bound into warmer waters.

Miami forecast for this weekend is RAIN. All channels on TV talk on it. The Sky is bright, deep blue this morning but it will cloud up later today. Trust me on this.

Watch the waves and know that often in the tropics there are illusions.

Don't you wish you could go back in time and watch on satellite imagery the 1935 Labor Day Hurricane form? But, alas..there were no sats, there was no imagery, there wasn't even good radar from the Bahamas as it cruised through. Wouldn't you like to know really what happened with that storm and how it formed and moved west? I sure would. Lots of books and articles written but no one knows for sure what was with that storm because it was before we could slice and dice and webcam storms.

Lot of illusions if you ask me but we will never know because we cannot go back in time can we? We can only try and imagine.
