Edouard Inland, Irony in Chicago

While I wait here to get into the bathroom for a shot at a hot bubble bath I would like to mention the extreme irony of last nights extremely, severe weather in Chicago.

I wonder.. am I the only one here who thinks it's ironic that Chicago was playing Houston?

Just think those happy Houston fans living in or visiting Chicago thinking they escaped the bad weather back home when WHAM severe weather slams them right there at Wrigley Field. I mean come on ..that is classic funny. What's that old saying "Man plans, G-d Laughs" Sort of funny, come on. I mean of all the teams in the league they could have been playing they were playing the Houston Astros.

Poor players have to go out on the field while worrying about their family and loved ones back home boarding up for the storm and then they are told to leave the field and run for cover.

Weather.. funniest, greatest .. more ironic story out there!

Ed is gone, done, finished. We can now move on and I imagine the name won't be retired this year or any year with my luck.

Thankfully, Texas got rain. And, with the high that is out there this summer they may get more rain later in the season.

As for me ... two teenage daughters and I may never get a bath at this rate.

Calgon Take Me Away..yeah right... she's floating in Victoria Secrets Amber Whatever she ain't leaving.

Here's the story.

Otherwise... look at the Atlantic. The ITCZ has come alive and looks like one bit ring of fire except it's tropical moisture convecting.

Love you all.. the bathtub is free... I'm in it!
