Marco Island? Could Fay Make Landfall There?

http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/flt/t1/loop-avn.html

Watching this loop and looking around on google and the various interactive radars and wondering if the blob that seems to be swirling the most will move in there.

Just a thought.

I know Ed Rappaport said today it has multiple centers and the center is elongating but this looks to be the main area to worry on weather wise so I'm mentioning it here.

10,000 Islands area is going to get weather as well.

Or maybe it will simply parallel the coast and fade away?

Imagine they hope so as if it doesn't it may get stuck in weak steering currents off the Eastern Coast?

No change, 8 PM movement to the North.

Going to go watch the rain.. having more bands now moving in, air feels very fresh.

My friend Sharon complained about two things... that are worth mentioning.

When they have a Tornado WARNING on TWC why does the scroll move so slow and give all the cords, it should move fast. She's right, twice we had one.. one near by in Hallandale and it moved so slow it took forever to see where it was.

And... we should have different parameters for tracking Tropical Storms as they very different from Hurricanes and therefore people should treat them and track them differently. Just a thought.

Later... going to relax, go off and enjoy watching bands move in on TWC radar.

Where do you think it is going to make landfall?

Somewhere between 10,000 islands and Marco Island I think... we'll see.d

Either way everyone is getting weather tonight!

Truth is I no longer care about the details, I have the windows open and listening to the rain, feeling the wind through the house though I shut it fast if the wind pics up and am enjoying the whole general event, much easier to do than a Cat 2 or 3, trust me!
