Models Like New Wave off Africa... Caribbean Cruiser? Turns North into GOM? GFS VS EURO is like Starbucks VS Dunkin Donuts. Pumpkin Spice Latte Anyone?

New Wave off of Africa.
Barely off and we are discussing it.

Nice Fall Colors there in that preview of Matthew..

You know it's late September when....
Everyone looks towards the Caribbean.

Long range models that end in October show a Caribbean Cruiser.
That's the name for a Low that gets into the Carib...
...and cruises Northward under the influence of a trof.
Trof = Cold Front
A nip in the air ...as they say up north.

People who don't even like pumpkin except in pie...
...buy Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks.
Sort of a rite of passage into Fall

So now we look towards the Caribbean for Matthew.

See how the NHC yellow cone goes West.
Stays low ...which is why it may go
Into the Caribbean

As soon as model runs show possibility of a closed low.
People begin arguing over models.

Wise Advice:

See rather than talk on the tropics.
It's time to talk on Cold Fronts.
Why?
Because IF cold fronts are viable and dip down...
...they will pick up the Low faster further East.
In order to get West you need less front and more ridging.

So we are who we are.
We love to compare things.
Mike leads with that today on his Facebook.
Far right of this image.

Sorry for any ballistic language below but...
... great video comparing Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts.
Insert EURO vs GFS.
Some meteorological comic needs to make one for us.

Euro makes STRONG HURRICANE in your face.
GFS stays logical and holds it in check.
One further West going slower.
One further East going faster...
Which do you believe?

I'm a Starbucks girl.
Dunkin Donuts is like watered down coffee with too much milk.
And way toooo much syrup for me.
I like the depth of the Starbucks coffee.
And DD is so controlling what is with that?
You ask to put in your own milk and they roll their eyes.

Truth is it's way too early to tell what will be.

Karl will be a Hurricane.
Headed towards Bermuda.
Lisa... poof

I'm also into Nespresso...
...but not spending twice the price for coffee from Cuba.
So they now be big capitalists in communist Cuba.
Normal capsule sleeve: $7.50
Capsule sleeve from Cuba: $12.50
Explain that to me....

Enjoy if you are a Starbucks person ;)

I'll admit.
I drink the Evolution Juice.
Sometimes Iced Coffee...
Cute drinks but only when they have all the toppings.
Ever go in a Starbucks and it's like "lets make a deal" ??

Me: "Do you have all the toppings for the Caramel Sea Salt Latte?"
Barista: "Oh sure we can make you that..."
Me: "But you have ALL the toppings?"
Barista: "Yes, well we are out of the sea salt but..."
Me: "So you can't really make me a Caramel Sea Salt Latte?"
Barista: "Well what we can do is add in Gingerbread Spice"

Me: "Then it's not a Caramel Sea Salt latte."
Barista: "It tastes good with the Gingerbread Spice I think..."
Me: (Starting about to cry)
Barista: "You want to try it with the Chipolte seasoning?"
Me: (I leave and go home and make a Nespresso...

I get Veranda with soy milk personally and honey.
Really, don't go ewww

I'm erring on the side of the GFS ...this year.
And I like to wait til it gets past 60W before I say what I think.
Also models overdoing early development this year.
Late bloomers is where it's at in 2016.
Watch the fronts first to see their strength.
Then watch the formed, closed low once past 60 West.

Stay tuned.
