Gordon Forms....

Far out in the middle of the ocean
Gordon has formed
and
is headed towards
the Azores....

That's about it.

A low level chance of development or redevelopment from the remnants of TD7 currently crossing the Yucatan into the BOC.

A cold front is dipped down across the South and pushed out to sea yesterday, another cold front is to the north near the Great Lakes a day or two away reinforcing this first one.  A third and well........ an early winter cannot be far behind...

IF the summer is near an end, fall is on it's way... it changes the way we look at the Tropical Atlantic and where we look for formation and tracks. Gordon will mess up any chance a Cape Verde Wave has of getting across towards out side of the world for a while.

Should we watch the Caribbean? Areas closer in? Not sure, we are in a pattern of flux... change, flow ... as fronts are flowing down across the East Coast all the way into the South. Sometimes, storms form at the bottom of frontal boundaries that stop and sit and spinning comes next.

Would love to go to Tybee Island and just sit a spell and watch offshore to see if anything spins, and if it doesn't...it still wouldn't be a wasted day..

The ITCZ is very weak looking, as witnessed in the image above...

A  lot to think on ... but not a lot to watch...
