Quick Update on Tropical Depression 17

This is the track of the storm that will be known as Paloma, currently Tropical Depression Number 17.

Really good update by Jim Williams at Hurricane City tonight. Jim shows the most probable track and the possibility that if she lingers too long... she may miss her ride out to sea and linger closer to the US Seaboard in the Bahamas. We'll know soon. If she intensifies fast he will stay on track. Everyone from Jamaica to South Florida should keep paying attention to their local weather.. just in case for a few more days.

Jim did a really good job with this and so few mets are covering it just yet waiting to see which way the wind blows I suppose.

Nite all.. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night watching coverage and watched a bit on youtube tonight with my 14 year old Zalmy who supported Obama and is very excited. Nice to share history with your friends and loved ones, making a mental image of things happening like a movie you can watch in your mind. Spoke to my daughter in Ottawa as well... she's happy. Spoke to my daughter living in Brooklyn, she said, "so, somethings forming in the tropics, what's happening?"

Politics and Weather... keeps us all together!
Sweet Dreams..Bobbi
