Fast Thoughts From Miami on Tropical Storm Fay

Just note that school has not as yet been canceled.

And, the path is really not set in stone or we wouldn't be in the Cone.

There is much diversity and flip flopping in the models so ... today would be a good day to stock up the house on non-perishables just in case as there may be another system a week or so behind it. If you don't get the storm.. put the supplies in a locked chest or closet so that you or your kids don't eat your way through them and be back here next Sunday.

I'm wondering if Nutrisystem is a good idea afterall. Those meals by UPS don't need to be refrigerated do they? How do they taste not heated up in the microwave?

Buy cereal and boxes of soy milk.

Diets can be good. Just buy batteries for your electrical toys, a battery operated fan and don't splurge on snack foods and think of Fay like a Oprah De Tox and sip grapefruit juice and eat canned vegetables!

Yummm!! I like string beans..

Note buying beer will mess up the detox plan but it might make the whole, drawn out mess easier to deal with...

This is not as yet a "board up the windows" event however it she does go north through the Gulf after hitting the Keys the water is very warm and all bets are off.
