October.... Still Watching the Caribbean and Which Avenues are Open for Trouble Trouble of the Cyclonic Kind!
The reason we follow many people on Twitter is because, although we all say the same thing some of us say it differently in a way that resonates. DaBuh, be that person, and yes this perfectly illustrates what I've been saying and all the rest of us have been saying. IF something gets going in the SW Caribbean, it has one avenue open to take and that's up and to the right and sometimes but not always Florida is in the way; Cuba even more often in the way. Add in a cold front or two that makes its way down to Florida and prompty dies over the the county line to the North of Palm Beach or even into the Florida Keys ...it's like saying "the road is open and clear" and all other tropical roads have been shut down by the move of the seasons.
The MIMIC above tells the same story with just one image that isn't in motion but it shows the motion. Cold front moving in from the NW... pushing East. Old yellow circle like a meteor now moving NE away... a HUGE moisture feed from the EPAC into the SW Caribbean and into the entrance of the Caribbean in the Atlantic riding low, westbound. Off the East coast there is a blue shadow of an arrow that says "nope, don't even try it" and is pushing the air down, delicously and bringing with it drier air.
So if something forms down in the SW Caribbean, it only has one way to go as things stand today.
Have a good weekend.
Go to the State Fair if you got one and enjoy a weekend where it's not as hot but warmer than it will be for a while. And never forget to check the tropics until we are way past October....this year in particular especially if you live in the Florida area.
