Tropical Storm Delta Forms. Gamma loses its convection. October Surprise In Play It Seems.

Going to update after the 11 AM advisories on Gamma and Delta.  Of particular concern is the landfall location and future strength of Delta. 

Yes that is the "Mid Level Center" of Gamma.

Gamma be naked as we say.

But NHC tracking the "center"

More of an interesting spy drama is what exactly officially happened to Gamma but more on that later  basically it’s convection eloped overnight with the adjacent frontal boundary that was indeed too close and flirtatious and now the naked center of Gamma sits trying to regroup while the NHC may have to rewrite the 3rd act  

My thoughts here are as follows. I want to see the next model run and what kind of spin the NHC puts on what happened last night with Gamma before going forward. I will say I was never happy with the future forecast cones for Gamma, as long term readers know I don't buy cones or models that look loopy and don't allign with ...well the frontal boundary draped across Florida as it was pretty obvious it would suck off the moisture from Gamma.
