Low Forming off East Coast... Leftovers from Yesterday's Florida Storms from the Gulf of Mexico.. Early Season Formation?
Before:
After:
Earlier in the week it was blue over Florida.
Some tropical energy down in the SW Caribbean.
Then moisture came up from the Yucatan...
...mixing with energy from the Gulf of Mexico that was East bound.
Below we put it in motion.
I'm did this in parts so it's easier to illustrate the process.
Purple splotch appears off the East Coast.
Things don't just happen in tropical weather.
It's a process with many moving parts coming together.
This graphic on Spaghetti Models shows you where it's going to go...
Across Florida.
Watch the long 12 hour Water Vapor Loop.
Going to add in here an old but great article.

Highlights below in yellow.
Transfers energy from the tropics to the poles.
Think of it as a holistic process going on every year in meteorology.
Yesterday....
Again ....what happened yesterday.
The area of weather that looked yesterday like a storm in the Gulf of Mexico.
Crossed Florida bringing with it crazy rain totals and tornadoes...
Is now in the Atlantic proceeding to stir up trouble again.
Will it be just a coastal low or possibly a form of tropical low?
That is the bigger question.
Possibly tomorrow and this coming week.
Some form of Low... Subtropical or Nontropical but looks tropical...
Forms off the East Coast and slithers it's way up along the East Coast.
Keep watching.
Love tropical weather.
Besos BobbiStorm.
Ps... more on Hurricane Prep... if you didn't read it..
...read yesterday's tongue in cheek post but all true on how to shop at Publix.
I am a bit worried on South Carolina this coming tropical season.
More on that later. Watch the loops today... should be interesting.
Woke up with this song in my head today ...
Why?
I don't know..
But I do love tropical weather...
A difficult science that we are learning more on every day..
...yet it's still basic.
Transfer of energy from the equator to the poles.
