Danielle and the Big Bad Wolf

SAL is going strong, models are visualizing a hurricane that goes west, pulls wnw.. you know a Classic Cape Verde Track and a beautiful wave exits the coast of Africa that could become Danielle only to come face to face with the Big Bad Wolf that has ventured south from the forests of Portugal to chase Miss Danielle away...

The latest sat images have already shown most of her red cloak has been ripped away and is now barely hanging on but this picture was taken earlier when they faced off...

Now I would love me a nice Cape Verde storm to track... I really would. Would love some nice long nights of talking tropical with some of my favorite weather people but I am still trying to figure out how Danielle wannabe number 954 could possibly give a knock out punch to the Big Bad Wolf who is reigning supreme in the far Eastern Atlantic Arena.

Stranger things have happened, don't get me wrong.... it's almost Prime Time so maybe one wave will come along, maybe this one and have the magic potion to knock the old wolf out of the game and send SAL packing....

Ps...in the Carib the wave is still at 10%. There is a small upper level low that is both flaming it's fire and holding it back from moving on... a small, hidden upper level low. The name of this season, waves entrained who lost their hearts to upper level lows. But... personally I would give it higher odds than 10.. not much more than 30 but in my book it's pretty interesting in a peculiar sort of way...
