Curious Conflicting Info on Miami Weather Radio VS NHC 5 Day Cone..

Light rain falling from Hanna. Pressure 29.66 Falling. Winds out of the west gusting to 20. Marine warning for waters around WPB for a storm with winds up to 40mph.

So, as I shut things down around here I put on the weather radio. Oddly the Miami weather radio is giving conflicting information from the NHC.

The NHC cone has Ike in the Miami area on Tuesday at 8PM. We are in a wide cone mind you it's not a straight line but it feels like a bulls eye tonight.

The Weather Radio says Miami could have hurricane conditions Monday and Monday night.

Who do you believe? Why do they differ? Am sure there is a good reason. Just hits me odd that they seem to be on a different page.

"Monday Night, Hurricane Conditions Possible"
"Tuesday Hurricane Conditions Possible"
"Tuesday Night, windy.. low 69 to 75.."

It may not be a big difference but it confuses people.. wild, possible hurricane conditions in 4 days.

Nite.........really...
