Coastal Low by Carolinas. EPAC Ready to Bubble. Random Wave Off Africa Has Some Model Support... Short Lived!!

Non tropical low off the Carolinas, formed as forecast and raining across North Carolina. This is a repetitive pattern as far as the models go and this is within the realm of Climo. So once this Low slides away it may be replaced by another one. Further out in the Atlantic is a strong wave and a mere possibility that it might develop briefly before it runs out of steam as it's May. And, as it's May we look towards the EPAC where it's typical for systems to develop first as their season began on May 15th.

Again this purple berry in the Bahamas....
...is the next system not the one currently offshore NC.

EPAC should come alive soon!

It kind of fades away after looking nice.
A smaller L is near the Carolinas, again.

It's May.
May is fun, May is fine, May is pretty.
Flowers in bloom.
Cool nights and warm days.

Each day the waters in the Atlantic...
...warm up.

Stay tuned.

Ps again don't be surprised if yellow circles bloom soon.
But remember .........it's May.
Off the coast of Carolina is prime time for May/June.
Stay tuned!
