Hurricane Harbor

A writer and a tropical muse. A funky Lubavitcher who enjoys watching the weather, hurricanes, listening to music while enjoying life with a sense of humor and trying to make sense of it all!

Nadine.... Let's Look at Sanba in the Pacific.. Must See Image...and asking a favor..

If you don't save this picture and make it your screen saver you are obviously not a storm chaser..tracker, fanatic... WOW

Is that wild or what?

I'm thinking of having a painter possibly paint it in my living room as wall mural...forget the screen saver idea.

Nadine meanwhile refuses to cooperate. She is stuck at 70 mph. She can't find five measely mph out there in the Atlantic to become a Hurricane? Oddly, the models think she can do it. Maybe we need to take up a fund?

I'm not even going to post a picture of Nadine, until she cleans up her room and becomes a hurricane.

Here's where she is going... eventually...

[full basin map of tropical cyclone activity]

Seems the NHC is beginning to lose faith in her...

"NADINE MAY STILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO STRENGTHEN...AS
SUGGESTED BY THE OFFICIAL FORECAST. HOWEVER...IT SHOULD BE NOTED
THAT THE TIMING AND DURATION OF A POTENTIAL STRENGTHENING EPISODE
IS UNCERTAIN."

I'll check back later and update if she deserves it  ...

Meanwhile Sanba is the equivalent of a Cat 5 storm... they seem to know how to spin in the Pacific.

Lastly, I don't ask for much round here but I am going to ask you to click on this link and please vote for this incredible organization in the Miami area that helps children with various special needs... from Autism to Downs and many more that I can't list. Most of their help is volunteer.. my kids have given time, their work is  awesome...and all you have to do is go on Facebook...which you probably are already and sign up and vote and pass the link along... if you have already voted for your own organization I urge you to pass the link on to others..  thanks... apparently, all my son wants for his birthday is for this organization to list in the top ten and they get money to continue their work. They are about 500 votes away currently I believe so every vote makes a difference.

They are called "The Friendship Circle" and that is what life is all about right? Friends helping friends..

Easy short link: www.FCMIAMI.org/vote

You can find me on Facebook as Bobbi Storm ...

Thank you!
