Nadine Not Living Up to Expectations

Though definitely there .....she seems to not be living up to her expectations... or their expectations

From the NHC discussion...they still expect her to become a hurricane... soon... though not a big one

What is interesting to me is the very small system coming off of Africa... on a long leash with Nadine

Note also the area at the end of the frontal boundary moved over to the Gulf and is now located just north of the Overseas Highway.. Gulf Side...

From the NWS Weather Service:

Synopsis...A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE NEAR THE SOUTHEAST COAST OF FLORIDA WILL PROGRESS WESTWARD ACROSS THE FLORIDA KEYS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...RESULTING IN UNSETTLED WEATHER. AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN WELL NORTH OF THE FLORIDA PENINSULA THIS WEEKEND. EASTERLY BREEZES SHOULD GRADUALLY DECREASE THIS WEEKEND.

Note it is always worth monitoring any area of ongoing, convection at the end of a dead frontal boundary and in this region.

So... keep watching.... either way.... Nadine is  not doing anything memorable any time soon it seems.

Ps..enjoy your weather today
