Stay Tuned.. Watch the Storm.. Katrina is doing something

Watching on radar imagery and sats and around 11:45 after the advisory that all of Miami is basing their plans on was written..she started moving more westerly.

Possible she is beginning to make that turn. IF you ask me she looks like a plane coming in to land at Ft. Lauderdale International..

Norcross said Broward more times (by far) than he did any other place. Official NHC chart has it there even though everyone keeps talking about Palm Beach and north.

This is NOT .. I repeat NOT Jeanne or Frances.. it is Katrina and she will go where Katrina wants to go.

Top of storm looks funny, think it feels the high moving down and there are storms exploding all over as she takes on a very round appearance on radar.. and sat imagery. A bit of dry air to her SW but otherwise.. she's pulling it together.

Post from Hurricanecity.com.. way too busy today with other things to update as much as I would but will say this.. NO ONE.. seems to know she is out there. All of Miami believes she is a depression and rain because she was very downplayed on the news last night. Dolphins got more time on one channel and A Team wasn't even in place. Noon was more somber but we were under false illusions of NNW movement from 11AM basically because she was looking more NNW.. but isn't anymore.

IF people would read discussion instead of adivorsies they would know more. For instance was that movement or relocation of center? Also.. Stewart said in a very well written discussion.. though the storm seems to be moving more nnw the cells with weather are moving west and ... well you read between the lines a lot.

Something learned for years of listening to Miami Weather Radio..

Anyway.. watch the storm... she is reforming into a strong Tropical Storm I believe and the only thing that might save this is if she is indeed beginning to make the turn and speeding up.

Cause if she slows down over warm, gulfstream waters.. we are in trouble.

post below...I'll be back later

Had Cuban Coffee and a Beef Pastelito for lunch by the way :)

1.. Norcross commented that timing is in the turn.. if it makes the turn further south it will come in faster (as in he showed homestead) ..if it makes the turn later..we have more time.. IE Palm Beach is it making the turn.. last several frames show new movement not in a nnw mode 2.. blue view.. good to use to see center and blow ups and other interesting data.. is that the center in the darkest blue? If so... Hollywood and Hallandale have more of a problem than Houston http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT/float-ir2-loop.html thats it.. lunch is overgoing back to workcheck in later
