Larry Still Out at Sea... Bermuda Barely in the Cone. Eastern Gulf of Mexico Tropical Storm May Form Later This Week... Have a Good Labor Day Weekend and Breathe, Give Charity & Cherish What You Have...
This is punky, parrot looking Hurricane Larry today. Not a perfect storm but a beautiful one that is far out n the distant Atlantic. It is within the realm of possibilities that it could impact Bermuda, so not such a Fish Storm yet. As I said the other day do not count your Fish Storms before they are served to you for dinner.
From far away without zooming in we can find Larry.
Not so with Invest 91L
Something there beginning I'll admit that.
But what is still an unanswered question.
As for the complex issue of Invest 91L still with yellow, low possibilities yet lots of hyped discussion on the different models... let's say it's there and has possibilities.
I'm not going to go long on this there is too much to focus on regarding the Ida Aftermath (both Part 1 and Part 2) and there is no reason to scare people who do not even have electric back yet and tell them there is some miminal chance that a storm is forming that will hit them again. As for Florida, everyone in Florida knows it sits there dangling down into the Caribbean waiting to be hit from pretty much any direction this time of year. Also where this forms makes all the difference in choice of track and forward speed. I'm still monitoring it and the Eastern Gulf of Mexico to see what it realistically may do.
Have a good Sunday.
Enjoy Labor Day Weekend.
Cherish what you have....
There is no impending Labor Day Hurricane this year, yet many families are burying their dead and mourning and it's worth remembering we will see other Major Hurricanes this year that most likely will make landfall. It is early September we are just moving into Prime Time in the Hurricane Season. Rivers are high in the NE and the Mid Atlantic, so another hurricane hit of any kind this year will be that much more devastating in ways I do not want to explain to you today. In 2005 we were hit in South Florida by 3 tropical systems and every time they got the electric up and running we were down again for another 10 days or so and no they were not Major Hurricanes but the power grid was poorly maintained and the infrastructure was large and there were many fires to put out, lines to fix, poles to put back up and substations that needed to be repaired. You haven't lived til your neighbors lights come on first and the rats all run to your house in the dark lit only by candles and the glow of cellphones that were charged in the car because we had no power. It's not pretty in Louisiana and Mississippi so before I hype some barely there system into another hurricane I think it's time to breathe, give charity to those in need and cherish all you have this Labor Day Weekend.
Sweet Tropical Deams...
