Wave Train Coming Off Africa..Looking for Love...Robin Williams

Got a real wave train going this week as waves roll off of Africa....

When waves roll west and the front's roll east across the US into the Atlantic... we are getting closer to Prime Time in tropics. What does it take to make a hurricane you wonder?

A good wave....with talent (a center) and the ability to go the distance (well stacked) and able to take on Cousin SAL the Dust monster with it's bare bands...

That is one ingredient in tropical development. The could use a friendlier environment. Nothing a nice, cute "wave" likes better than to feel they are loved and wanted. A few nice presents might help... moisture, calmer winds.... a wink from the models....

Isn't that what we all want? To be loved?

Lot of questions today after a death that many feared would come one day...this way.

Robin Williams... fast talking, funny man who always filled up the dead silence with smart talk and jokes. Inside a man with many things haunting him. Bad choices that never fade away like poorly formed tropical waves do... Our bad decisions linger and haunt us don't they?

So ...telling you know if you have a friend who has a problem with any type of addiction know that they need help... but they also need love. The world needs love.

Poor little Invest 94L could use some love . . .

Current models for Invest 94L take him into our part of the tropical basin. At first you look at this map and you go "OH MY GOD ITS GONNA HIT MIAMI!!!!" unless of course you live to the north and think "OH MY GOD ITS GONNA HIT PALM BEACH!!!"

We all see the world through our own eyes... and minds...and fears...

In truth it's too soon to tell and these models are for entertainment purposes until Cristobal forms. We use them for forecasting purposes with a wide margin for error.  It could pull north or it could continue into the Caribbean giving it more rain that it needs badly. Funny how parts of the tropical Caribbean are in a drought. See...what the world needs is more tropical waves westbound it seems.

Unfortunately Avila at the NHC is showing this wave no love... what else is new?

"TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
800 AM EDT TUE AUG 12 2014

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. Shower activity associated with with a westward-moving broad area
of low pressure centered about 750 miles west-southwest of the Cape
Verde Islands has diminished. Environmental conditions are not
favorable for tropical cyclone formation.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...near 0 percent.

Forecaster Avila"

What do I think?

I think we need to keep watching it as the tropics are setting up for better days. This is more like rehearsal than dress rehearsal. We are getting closer.

And, as mentioned recently by Rick Knabb at the NHC on TWC this morning... NC was already hit by Arthur this year so ... if you live in NC keep watching. Patterns persist as only Hawaii knows...

So, I will be back when there is something more to say on the tropics today...

On a personal note it's hard to watch clips from Mrs Doubtfire as they always reminds me of some crazy person I know who blurs the line between art copying life and then life copying art again... so to you know who you are.. I love you! (Even though you're crazy!!! lol) Rolling eyes.... oh lordie lordie...

Ps...
If you have problems dealing with depression brought on by realizing Robin Williams is gone from our life..though he left a legacy of laughter in this films... listen to the music and stare up at the moon like you do...with your arms wide open ;) my old hucklerberry friend.
