Friday, 5 PM. Melissa Strengthening, Decluttering Excess Baggage. Looking Like She Wants to Go Hurricane ...
1st pic is a blob with a nearby blob of rain.
2nd pic is AFTER Melissa decluttered.
Reorganized.
Ready to go.
Stronger.
Watch the blob of rain pull away....
And the embryonic shape of a developing Cane.
That's how I see it.
Will discuss movement soon....
stay tuned!
Nice seeing them moved away from FL
Not as good for Hispaniola.
Especially Haiti...
Watch for more adjustments.
Again the peak intensity is higher.
I'll be honest. Melissa is doing everything it needs to furfil those scary model forecasts showing a monster in the Caribbean that hovers near Jamaica or over Jamaica. Below is the 96 hour position as of today.
The part of Haiti that juts out could be closer...
..down the road.
And moving N is Cuba.
Currently no USA Mainland impacts.
The reality is that we are just beginning to see what Melissa may be, and if she keeps intensifying and pulling it together by this time tomorrow we should be more sure. Again her movement is forecast slow, if that changes it could be a big problem. Just pointing it out, not expecting it.
Going offline soon... be back Saturday Evening.
Keep abreast of any and all changes from the NHC in their forecast and stay aware and prepared.
Thanks for being here,

I really need a break from nonstop model discussion and obsessing on every move she makes. It's a developing disaster and she is already deadly having killed at least 3 people in flooding in Haiti. Dangerous set up and we will in 24 hours what verified and what did not or what surpassed model expectations!
