Something Has Changed in African Wave Train. Prime Time Coming Sooner Than You Think... 2025 is on Steriods Time Wise. Waves Better Looking. Small Chance of Home Grown in Gulf ... Buy a Weather Radio with a Crank on Amazon Today....
Okay...note the shape of the waves. The sense of more organization. Rudimentary banding features There are not the colorful blobs we've seen. Drop into the ocean and fizzle. But while they are fizzling.... ...they are juicing up the atmosphere. Laying a road future waves can follow. There's PreSeason Waves.... ...and Prime Time Waves.
We are getting closer...
You can see the curvature, the desire to spin.
Visible imagery below.
Yes, there is SAL, but the wave is interesting.
This snippet from the NHC page.
That's a classic signature.
Understand this wave may not get a name, but it's trying to get a yellow 10% circle. There are two and there's one behind them over Africa that looks even better. It has a weak signature, a weak pulse, put it any way you want it but it's a sign of things to come. 2025 moves fast, faster than Ferris Bueller on a day when he's playing hooky. You have to stop sometimes and take a good look at what's out there and feel that moment. We will see how this wave does and in truth the water is not hot enough yet to support real development, SAL is there but if I had a dollar for every wave I tracked that developed with no model support and riding with the dust I could have a field day on Amazon Prime.
Love this site from Spectrum in Tampa.
Mike uses it at times.
Easy to read graphics.
Mike = Mike's Weather Page
(is there any other Mike??)
It has to make it into the Caribbean.
A long shot.
That's what Camille did.
I wrote about that the other day, scroll back.
2. Another area to watch is close in the Gulf.
Spectrum Weather puts these up....
"slight chance" well said.
For example they had one up in NC
....before NHC put up a yellow circle.
BN9 is a Tampa channel....
...they watch the Gulf.
As I have said a trillion times here....
...find local experts who know your backyard.
Who warn you of possible intruders...
...of the tropical kind.
7 day rain totals above.
1. Is that a dead front off the East Coast or a system moving slowly? It's there on the 3 day and 5, but on the 7 day it shows the rain signature. Maybe a Low forms off the East Coast from one of these lows attached to fronts in July* or an old tropical wave that is doing it's thing. My Louisiana we have an area that emergest that could be a home grown systems. Models have been hinting at development and they have been disagreeing and they haven't been totally consistent...how ever they do notice the possibility. How this year has been going it's wise to watch for home grown activity..
Where's Dexter? Sounds like a party guy that wants to do Nola to me, but time will tell. Probably wearing a lime green shirt with tropical flowers.
Have a good day. Try to stay away from any flooding rains. We had Twisters. Now we have floods. Soon we will have Hurricanes that last more than 2 or 3 days.
This Weather Radio has a Crank in case the batteries aren't up to date and seriously might have possibly saved the lives of campers who were camping on the 4th of July in an area with spotty phone service depending on their carrier. If this alert went off and trust me it sounds like the Martians are attacking you'd have been able to run for higher ground. Weather Radios save lives. Officials have been saying in the wake of the deadly floods in Texas Weather Radios might have saved lives.
