EPAC May Begin on Time This Year... Areas We are Watching... but so far NHC not impressed yet. Took a Tropical Vacation to Myrtle Beach
Westbound waves washing up on South America.
Strong enough to make it across intact.
In the EPAC a congregation of convection...
Storms over the Deep South again.
Severe Weather in the South.
Heavy rain for a change in Carolinas.
Clash of cold fronts and hot weather will do that.
Watch decaying fronts in a few weeks off the SE Coast...
...and in the GOM as they can spin up surprises fast!
Yes it's that time of year.
Though I'm watching the EPAC
May 15th begins their hurricane season.
Warm water.... a purple blob.
But NHC isn't biting yet.
Link to the EPAC NHC site.
Usually they pop first but last year was a bit odd.
The NHC will begin the Tropical Weather Outlook...
...on May 15th for the Atlantic.
So stay tuned.

Ps On a personal note I went to Myrtle Beach for the first time in way over a year. Such a beautiful place, even if you don't golf! Sunrise in the Atlantic and fun to watch the sun set at Broadway on the Beach.
...if u have enough mixed drinks you can feel the wind!
