Dreaming of Hurricanes ....

Note the snow is receding north ...as is winter.

Here in North Carolina the rain is falling endlessly. I know it will stop, but it's hard to believe it tonight as the steady sound of the rain is filling my brain with thoughts of tropical downpours and summer. And, yet it's 40 degrees outside and not very tropical.

There was a trace of snow today somewhere in the meteorological area. Martinsville up the road had snow and some sleet.

And, yet my mind is on hurricanes and running away to strange places.

I'm not the only one.

[edit]Season effects

Now what?

http://www.weatherbell.com/2013-Hurricane-Season-Forecast  (READ)

Bastardi calls for an intense hurricane season and compares it to the top busy seasons that brought you Katrina, Camille, Cleo...

"This is in line with my top 5 selected seasons (2004, 2005, 1964, 2010, 1969) based on the 400 mb pattern and ocean temperatures in March."

Now what?

I'm going to go to bed and dream of hurricanes dancing on the water vapor loop... and listening to the rain falling and pretending it's tropical rain.

Besos Bobbi

Ps .... Severe Weather in Miami today....
