Models Watching Mid May .... If Models Are Thinking on Hurricane Season...........Have You?

Online there's been a buffet of models shown.

And, I'll admit there's been some consistency.

Time will tell.

SW Caribbean is warm and ready.....

...to host some sort of tropical development.

Beginning to look a lot like Hurricane Season is approaching as models are doing their May thing where they show development early in the season. Take it as a reminder to get your act together and be prepared for whatever Mother Nature may throw at you with whatever name you win or lose in the raffle. 

Weather Impacts are what you need to think on as you prepare for Andrea, Barry or Chantal.

Do you live in a Condo? Some sort of high rise apartment complex?

Do you live in a flood zone?

Do you live in an area where big trees may fall on your home?

Do you live in an area you don't think is a flood zone but it's a river valley that could flood.

Do you have children?

Do you have pets?

Do you have older relatives nearby or living with you?

Will your fish survive if the power goes out for 2 weeks...... maybe not. Ideas? Thoughts?

Every one has different priorities and impacts. 

Til last year most people in Western North Carolina felt fairly safe from hurricanes impacing their area.

You live........you learn. 

If you are new to the area then ask a local whose been through a few big blows... tropically speaking.

Long Range models......

....show something in Carib maybe crossing Cuba.

Out to sea.....

....would all depends on fronts.

Late season fronts grab they and pull em away.

Late Season fronts can pull them too close.

Way too far out to think on it.

But if the models be thinking on the tropics.

So should you!
