20% YELLOW - East Atlantic African Wave Models Show Consistent Support for MDR Becoming Active.

Kind of like the NHC saying:
"yes we saw the models...."
20% for the 5 day!

Note purple off the SE Coast also.
But the blue bright purple warrants 20%

Earthnull shows a very wide area to watch.
Nothing specific but models are showing development.
How far something goes or how strong it gets is a question.

Just really posting this now and letting it go and let's see what this wave has under the hood. There are also models that show something could form in the GOM close in cross over (again) and slide up the East Coast or a Low off the E coast develops. Typical suspects this time of year, yet as always everyone watches African Waves.  So homegrown or long distance, roaming,  struggling waves westbound trying to get to the Islands we have something to watch a bit.

The big deal here really is that the tropical waves are the right latitude, coming off of Africa higher exactly where they should be for development. Yes, SAL is here but SAL keeps them in check and allows them to develop once they get closer to the Islands.

Stay tuned...
