Yellow Circle in the Caribbean. Models Pull It North Towards GOM. 20% in 5 Days. Bill?
I said on Twitter a few days ago.... June 6th we'd see something.
And something popped up on June 6th.
20% in the 5 Day.
There is convection there and it's lingering in a favorable spot for development this time of year however with all the models seeming to come together on a possible Caribbean system headed North towards the Gulf of Mexico coastline it seems we are going to monitor it. Well we've been monitoring it either way.
What I find most interesting is the new African Wave.
Despite SAL and despite it's June.
The waves are climbing in latitude.
Still too low but getting higher.
See those "lips" of Africa?
The waves need to kiss the lips of Africa..
Then things get hot and juicy!!
As for the models....
Mike is the master of images.
A bit old but you get the idea.
When all 3 align the NHC takes notice.
Stay tuned....
... it's a process.
We are progressing indeed.

Ps ... I wouldn't plan the wedding just yet.
But Bill may be here sooner than planned.
Again June 6th I expected something to show up.
I'd say the time frame around June 9th and 10th...
...should be interesting.
Whether we have a named storm or ...
...whether it's just weather we will see.
