#winterwinning High Temperatures in the SE for a day... then poof, winter returns!

There's an illusion going on in parts of the SE of winter retreating and summer coming back faster than Santa on a Harley. It's an illusion guys.... winter is winning. I'm using the Hashtag #winterwinning currently. I believe I made it up so if you see it around just know where it came from...

Winter is winning.

It's gaining on us every day in every way!

But in a year when no one is sure on La Nina...

Perhaps it's a Neutral year?

Waiting to see what plays out.

This year has been sort of crazy.

Jason says it was this warm in Virginia.

I wasn't there I can't say.

I have the windows wide open in NC though...

I have a friend in Augusta who wants to put on the AC.

She better stop debating it on Facebook and do it fast.

Soon she will need the heat again.

My kids drove back to sunny Florida.

We went out last night to Glenwood South in Raleigh.

Busy despite the cold weather.

And it was cold last night.

Scotch and a fire pit with the kids at Cornerstone.

They had the out door heaters on.

This morning the boots came off...

No coat. Windows open.

And now the wind is changing.

No longer is it coming in fast from the South.

So long illusions of summer.
