Gonzalo. What are we waiting for? Invest 90L hits the G Spot & Heidi Klum
Every body's looking for something...
Some are only looking at the models as if the European was putting out model input that looked like Heidi Klum. Seriously? You have a developing tropical system and all you want to do is use the models? This set up doesn't take models, it's as simple as cold front meets Gonzalez or whatever it's name is (still sipping Nespresso here...) and takes it out to sea.
Seems there is a model for everyone...
but let's not stare at the models...
Let's stare at Gonzalo spinning neatly in the Atlantic.
Nothing is random here, by the way, those models in that SI story were in the Virgin Islands.
Gonzalo "could" get close to the Virgin Islands if it develops slowly and stays south as it seems to be doing. There he goes moving west with an "eye like" feature and I keep wondering what we are waiting for...
I'll be back later with model discussion, I'm just saying at the moment a little surprised that there has been no upgrade with this system. I do understand the big story is in the Pacific and Indian Oceans but this is my ocean and it's getting awfully close to the islands in the Caribbean.
Let's stop watching the models and start watching the storm. Because this little Invest seems to be hitting the G Spot and is going to get the name Gonzalo soon.
The red shaded area is already IN the islands ....
I'll be back later when we have more info on what should be our next storm..
Listen not all storms become big ones but the winds will kick up and it deserves an upgrade.
Oh and by the way... Bermuda got a whole lot more of Fay then they made it sound like it would get.
So since the NHC is not yet forecasting for the G storm I'll go with info from the NWS PR
Note...the rest of the week is looking good so come on down...
Besos Bobbi
Ps... note the TWC wording "HAMMERS" Bermuda... note weather will be better there soon too
